Another day on the road this week, connecting and visiting with Manufacturers yesterday. Andrew LeGrand, MBA and I had a great time up in Fulton and Mexico, Missouri. Plant Tour: 220 Company: Danuser Location: Fulton, MO How do you get to Missouri Association of Manufacturers Member, Danuser in Fulton? Just follow MAM Member, Carmeco Incorporated truck (see photo). Love seeing MAM Members working together. Enjoyed connecting with Janea Danuser, touring their 4th generation manufacturer setting the high quality standard in industrial and agricultural attachments - pallet forks, material handling buckets, auger systems, post drivers, etc., with b/a names like the Hammer, the Intimidator, the Python and the Hornet. Great history, check out the pic of the founder, K.B. Danuser, hard at work in 1910. Good stuff there. Plant Tour: 221 Company: Fluid Power Support and Ultimate Steel Buildings LLC Location: Mexico, MO Fluid Power Support is a metal fabrication manufacturer providing precision, on-demand metal fabrication services and products. We were blown away with the top automation systems incorporated throughout the operations, blending the latest technology and quality craftsmanship to provide innovative solutions. Beyond incredible. Plant Tour: 222 Company: Spartan Light Metal Products Location: Mexico, MO World-class die casting, engineering, product design and manufacturing supporting many of the top names in the automotive industry. Serious stuff here. Their complex industrial die-cast production beyond wow (that is a technical term), makes them the industry expert on recyclable, custom aluminum and magnesium products. The new presses and old building look so small compared to the new building. Heating & air were installed this week. Now to move a couple of presses out of the old into the new, then close up the wall and we will be rocking.
